STRUCTURAL ENGINEER:

McNaughton Associates, Inc. is seeking outstanding individuals to fill an immediate opening for Structural Engineer with wood frame experience. All experience levels are considered and encouraged. We combine a progressive benefits and compensation package with a fun, flexible and casual office culture. This position will manage all outside Engineers, train staff in Engineering procedures and current trends as well as perform Engineering analysis.

ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN:

For single family residential projects and wood frame multi-family.

  • Construction document development for Building Permit applications
     
  • Interior details
     
  • Complex roof and wood framing detailing

Requirements:

  • Experience with, or interest in, wood frame construction and construction issues
     
  • Residential construction experience desired
     
  • Entry level understanding of site plans and grading ok. (existing and finish grades)
     
  • Work within the drafting standards of the office
     
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2000 and higher
     
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
     
  • Communication skills. This individual will need to be able to communicate with Contractors, Building Departments, and other Professionals

SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN / PROJECT MANAGER

Requirements – All of the requirements listed above, plus the following:

  • 10+ years of experience
     
  • Degree in Architecture or related field
     
  • Client correspondence
     
  • Experience with Building Department submittals and follow up management
     
  • Excellent organization and follow up skills
     
  • Project coordination experience
     
  • Structural understanding and ability to check load tracing
     
  • Understanding of IBC and local municipal criteria
     
  • Residential construction experience desired
     
  • Advanced understanding of site plan and grading (existing and finish grades)
     
  • Willingness to assist in training less experienced staff
